A Message from Mrs. Elroy:

Dear Families,

Welcome back to a brand-new semester at Duncan High School! The start of the second semester is always an exciting time—a chance for students to set new goals, build on their successes, and finish the school year strong. We hope everyone enjoyed a restful and joyful winter break and is ready to return with renewed energy and focus.

As we begin this next chapter, our staff remains committed to supporting every student academically, socially, and emotionally. We encourage families to stay engaged by checking grades regularly, communicating with teachers, and encouraging students to stay organized and proactive in their learning. Together, we can help our students reach their full potential.

This semester will bring many opportunities for growth and celebration—academic achievements, extracurricular events, and milestones that make high school such a memorable experience.

Thank you for your continued partnership and support. Let’s make this semester one of hard work, positive attitudes, and great accomplishments.

Go Demons!

LIVE RED!

With gratitude,
Mrs. Elroy

Communication with School Staff:

We are dedicated to serving our students and their families each and every day. We are here and eager to help in anyway that we can. With that being said, we also have to protect our time with our own families and have time to disconnect and recharge.

Please respect the following boundaries regarding communication with school personnel. Thank you.

  1. Teachers and staff will make every effort to respond to parent messages or phone calls within 24 hours during the work week. The best time to call is 7:30-3:15 each day.

  2. Emails/messages and phone calls on Friday and the weekend will be returned on Monday of the following week.

  3. All parent/staff communication should be through an official school Rooms communication app or a phone call to the school office. In addition to these, other school communication tools such as SeeSaw, Class Dojo or other tools set up by the school or teacher may also be used.

  4. Teachers also have a planning period during the day that can be used for phone communication or parent meetings as needed.

  5. Appointments can be scheduled with other staff, as needed, through a phone call to the school office.
